Building entrance with a plate camera and barrier
Modern condominium entrance with security
Suited to
Condominium juristic persons, apartments, dormitories, serviced residences
Typical lanes
Usually 1–2 entry and 1–2 exit lanes with a guard booth
01

Condominiums & apartments

Keep residents and visitors clearly apart, and update tenants easily

What this site type usually needs

  • Frequent move-ins and move-outs need fast plate add and removal
  • Visitors should get temporary passes that expire on their own
  • The management office needs a record to refer back to in a dispute

Functions we can set up

  • Link plates to units and import lists in bulk
  • Visitor passes by QR or LINE with an expiry time
  • Guards can open the barrier manually when needed, and the override is logged
  • Export entry and exit reports for the committee

Equipment in this setup

Worth preparing before a survey

  • Number of units and parking bays, including motorcycles
  • Number of entry and exit lanes and each lane's width
  • Existing barriers and guard booth
Home entrance with a plate camera and automatic gate
Suited to
Detached homes, villas, gated townhouses, small to mid-size villages
Typical lanes
One lane for a single home; 1–2 entry and exit lanes for a village
02

Private homes & villages

A single home opens for family cars without a remote; a village separates residents from guests

What this site type usually needs

  • Owners want convenience: no getting out or carrying a remote
  • Guests and deliveries must get in at allowed times
  • Villages want a record of unfamiliar vehicles entering

Functions we can set up

  • Single home: link the existing gate motor, open for registered plates, notify by phone
  • Village: resident lane separate from guests, several plates per home
  • Guest invitation link sent by LINE with an expiry time
  • Entry and exit images and times kept for the village committee

  • Where a camera can be mounted and power or network near the gate
  • Number of homes and lanes (villages)
Factory loading gate with camera and barrier
Suited to
Factories, warehouses, industrial estates, distribution centres
Typical lanes
1–4 wide lanes, separating cars, trucks and loading lanes
03

Factories & warehouses

Trucks, containers and contractors: know who came and went, and when

What this site type usually needs

  • Trucks and tractors carry varied plates and must be read in dust, rain and glare
  • Drivers and contractors should pre-register to cut waiting at the gate
  • Entry and exit data must flow on to weighbridge or in-house systems

Functions we can set up

  • Fence-arm barriers or a link to sliding gates for wide lanes
  • Pre-booked trucks and contractors with permitted time windows
  • Export data as files or link to weighbridge or ERP within the project scope
  • Dust- and water-protected housings, and backup power for critical points

Offices, malls & hotels

Monthly tenants and hourly visitors share the same entrance without a jam

What this site type usually needs

  • Separate monthly tenants, hotel guests and hourly visitors
  • Calculate fees and merchant or hotel discounts
  • Cars must clear quickly at peak times, with reports for accounts

Functions we can set up

  • Monthly-tenant rights tied to the plate, no card needed
  • Time-based fees, validation stamps and QR payment within the project scope
  • Optionally add bay guidance or vehicle counting where the site needs it
  • Link to access control and lifts, subject to the equipment on site

The building blocks of an LPR system

Each site uses a different subset. Models and brands are confirmed against the site and the integration needs.

LPR camera

A plate-reading camera with supplemental light for Thai plates by day and night, mounted on a post or bracket at the right angle.

Barrier gate

Straight-arm, fence-arm or folding-arm barriers chosen by lane width and headroom, or a link to an existing sliding or swing-gate motor.

Management software & reports

Allow-lists, watch-lists, time-stamped logs with images, search and export, and administrator permissions.

Visitor pre-registration (QR / LINE)

Residents or staff create a pass in advance with an expiry date and time, shortening queues at the booth and reducing card swaps.

Display & voice prompt

Shows the plate, access status and driver messages, with optional voice prompts.

Fee calculation & validation stamp

Time-based parking fees, merchant validation of discounts, and QR payment within the project scope.

CCTV image link

Pull the wider view of the vehicle and people at the gate alongside each event so staff can verify clearly.

Vehicle detection & safety sensors

Loop, radar or photocell sensors that stop a barrier from lowering onto a vehicle and handle cars following closely.

What happens to one vehicle

  1. 01Vehicle reaches the gate
  2. 02Camera reads the plate
  3. 03Check rights and time
